Beats & Breaks
Before making apps I spent a lot of time recording albums and playing live gigs. I've released three albums and a heap of 12" singles on Freestyle Records UK — I’m mainly into old-school funk & soul, hip hop, b-boy breaks, and soulful / latin house. I've had a single in the UK dance charts, and played gigs across UK, Europe, and Australia.
I’ve been lucky enough to have my music played by Kenny Dope, Gilles Peterson, Quantic, Russ Dewbury, Mr Scruff, Ashley Beedle, Fort Knox Five, Askillz, Andy Smith, Adam Freeland, Annie Mac, and DJ Spinna. Instrument-wise I usually play drums, keys, bass, and turntables on my records, and mainly use Ableton, Logic, and Serato for production.
Afro-Latin & Brazilian Beats
I lived in Brasil for a year, and I'm heavily into all beats Afro-Cuban and Brazilian. Here's a bossa track I made for my girl Bebo, and a remix I did of latin group Manteca — both released on Freestyle Records UK.

Live Mashup Set Recorded In Barcelona, Spain
I’ve been lucky enough to tour around a lot, including gigs in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Hungary, Austria, Spain, and Australia. Below you can listen to a live mashup set I recorded in Spain.
This is a live mashup DJ set of funk, soul, hip hop, latin, disco, beats, and breaks, recorded in Barcelona as part of the Gold Diggers Festival at the Sala Apolo on 25th October 2007.
I cut up over a thousand songs into a pile of loops, acapellas, and song snippets, and worked out the key and tempo of each snippet. Then I put everything into one big folder on my hard drive and used Ableton Live and a heap of midi controllers to trigger all the bits and pieces in and out.
It's 64 minutes of live remixes, exclusive edits, and completely improvised mashups on the fly, as well as Flow Dynamics favourites, old school dusty funk classics, and the latest tunes from around the globe…
